Lulu's oral surgery

During a brutal storm three years ago, I let two of the strays into my apartment until the downpour ended. After that day, Lulu and Lumè both kept coming back to visit. Lulu was abandoned by her previous owner and was 8 years old when she came into my life. I could have taken her to a shelter, but she was senior and the shelters were brimming with younger cats. I was dismayed to hear that the chance of her being adopted was slim. I was apprehensive to leave her there for fear that she would remain abandoned; so I decided to not separate them, but rather to care for them myself.
Lulu has had the uncanny ability to know when my rheumatoid arthritis flares and is drawn to the spot where I feel the most pain, as if to heal me with her touch. Lulu always returned the care I gave her, knowing exactly what I needed.
Like with all of us, time is brutal as she reaches old age. Lulu has been diagnosed with both stomotitis and an autoimmune disease. The combination of these two causes her have infections in her mouth and inflicting near-constant pain. As one can expect, the pain she endures makes her struggle to eat. She continues to lose weight as she doesn’t like to eat crunchy food and merely relies on whatever she can lick off of the wet food. Each time I kiss her goodbye and look at her blood stained white patches of fur, my heart breaks when I am forced to leave her to go to work, sometime on multi-day trips.
Her vet recommends that to rid her of the pain, her teeth must be extracted. I’m struggling with the ability to finance her treatment and I'm asking for your help. Any help for Lulu is so much appreciated. The sooner she receives care, the sooner her pain will be alleviated Thank you,
for your help.
