Lukes Memory

Luke passed away suddenly on the 10th of April 2021. We all woke up that day thinking that it would be like every other day we had as a family. Unfortunately Luke had a cerebral hemorrhage while at home with our children. While our eldest child rang for an ambulance, they also sent out a Welsh Air ambulance to be with us. The amount of care they gave Luke was completely outstanding, they helped keep him with us long enough for us to be able to say goodbye whilst giving Luke so much dignity and respect. From there we went to Morriston Hospital in Swansea to the ICU department. The staff there went above and beyond to make Luke as comfortable as possible, and were with me every step of the way. They showed nothing but kindness and love to me all while looking after my husband.  

This is the reason I have set up this page as I would like all proceeds raised to be divided between the Welsh Air Ambulance service and the ICU department at Morriston Hospital. 
The Welsh Air Ambulance service sometimes struggles to keep going as they have very little help from the government, they appreciate every little donation in order to keep going, and they deserve that and more! 

The ICU also receives little funding as everything has to be split between all departments at the hospital. 

I know Luke would have appreciated every little thing that the ICU and Welsh Air Ambulance did for him and any little donation will go a long way to both.
