First of all, THANK YOU for visiting my GoFundMe page. Seriously, it’s means a ton! I am so excited about this new journey, and am grateful that you’ve come to check it out!
As many of you may know, I’ve been writing music for a while now. It’s always been something that has been a part of me, and every now and then I’ve been able to share these songs with friends like you. But now I have a unique opportunity to share these in a new way - as a professional studio release.
I’m especially excited to work with Chris and Anthony and their team at Old Bear Studios (Buffalo, NY). I resonate so deeply with their heart for Jesus, the church, and for the art of making music. I’m excited to partner with these guys and explore these songs, following wherever they may lead in the studio.
This is going to be a 5 song EP, which will be available at all digital music outlets (iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, etc). These will be all original songs, many of which you haven’t heard before, but some you may have. For example, I’m especially excited to include “War Cry” on this project. Many of you have been asking about this for years, so here it is! Finally! These are songs that represent different seasons in my life, I hope they will resonate with you in some way, and will somehow point you to Jesus in a new way.
So, why a GoFundMe? While it’s super fun to create music, it’s incredibly expensive. It takes a lot of funds to make this kind of thing happen, and that’s why I need your help. I’m asking for $7,000 to make this EP. Every penny of that amount will go towards making this happen. This amount will cover travel expenses to and from the studio, studio costs, musician costs, mixing costs, mastering costs, and even the fees that GoFundMe collects. It’s a lot! But if we hit this goal, then we’ll have an amazing final product that we can all be proud of - together.
Asking for money is no small thing, and you deserve something for your donations! On the right you’ll see various rewards tied to different levels of support. At the base level, you can pre-order the EP. This is so incredibly helpful! And if you consider giving even more, then you could end up also getting a special bonus demo track, some behind the scenes access during recording, or even a special house show in your living room! And of course, I realize that not everyone is able to give financially, and that’s totally ok. You have no idea how much I would appreciate your prayers for this project! This is a large undertaking, and it’s honestly a bit overwhelming; so your prayers would be so appreciated!
