Luke's Trek to Kenya

Heading over to Kisumu, Kenya mid-May as part of a community development project for four weeks. I will be working with local groups in the agriculture and education projects. I will be assisting in the schools mainly as a sporting instructor. Sports is of major importance as children can avail of sporting scholarships that provides them with an opportunity to gain an education which otherwise would not be available. It also offers a chance for the children to develop their motor and social skills and of course to enjoy themselves!

There is huge poverty in this area and financial support is needed for all of these community projects. The more money raised and resources gathered, the more beneficial it will be to the people I will be meeting and the community. I would hope to bring as much sports equipment over with me both old and new.

I would be so grateful for any donations no matter how small, any contribution will make a huge difference to the lives of the people I will be working with.

Thank you!
