Luke's Journey Home

Luke is a wonderful family man, born and bred in Alice Springs.

At the tender age of 28 Luke has been diagnosed with brain cancer.

He was evacuated by the Royal Flying Doctors to Darwin for emergency surgery and treatment.

Luke lives in Alice Springs (1500 kms away) with his partner Trisha and young family where there is no local treatment for him.

Lukes family are exceptionally close. They would like to be able to visit him in hospital. But there is no financial support for his mum, dad, sisters and brothers to do this, other than their work leave entitlements. 

Luke is a positive young fella who has worked hard his whole life.  After completing a plumbing apprenticeship he has worked full time and is known as someone who is always incredibly reliable.

He hasn’t asked us to do this, but we do know that family visits would be incredibly healing. We are aware that his leave payments will run out soon and he will be unable to continue to work while receiving treatment.

Please help provide funds for flights and accommodation, care visits by the family and assistance to pay his rent and bills.
