Luke Davidson Brain Surgery Recover

On Friday January 12th, my great nephew Luke Davidson collapsed while entering a grocery store.  He was rushed to the hospital where they determined he had a brain tumor and 6 days later, he had surgery to remove the 7 cm (2.75 inches !) tumor.  The tumor was causing him to lose his eyesight and making his legs go numb.  The doctor was able to remove 99% of the tumor and confirmed that it is not cancerous (yay!).  However, Luke does need another surgery to remove the remaining portion of the tumor, which is scheduled for February 6th at 530am.  He will not be released to allow him to work for 3 months.  The other side to this situation is that Luke was let go from his job 3 days prior to collapsing.  He had only been with the company for 90 days, so he has no insurance benefits.  While he is doing everything he can via alternative methods to cover his medical costs, there will be some out of pocket expense on his end.  In addition, he has rent to pay and various other household expenses that he can't cover right now.    With his recovery right now, he sleeps very little due to his medication and because of the surgery itself, he has difficulty chewing and has numbness in his hands, feet and legs.  Yet throughout all of this, Luke has an incredible attitude and is always saying how much he loves and appreciates the support from his family and friends.  Luke is a great guy.    He's a hard worker - he's been doing CNC machining for over 6 years.  He served in the Army for 3 years.  Stephanie, his fiancee who he has been with for 10 years, just recently returned to work herself after having back surgery.  These two have been through a lot together!   Any donation you can give at this time is greatly appreciated.  $5, $10, $20.  Whatever you can donate, it will go directly to Luke to help him pay his bills.  Funds are needed right away!  Please make your donation to help Luke now.
