Help Luis Pineda Recover After a Severe Climbing Accident

On Saturday, September 13, 2025, my husband and Juan’s brother, Luis Fernando Pineda, suffered a devastating accident while climbing at a gym facility in Germany. He fell from a significant height, breaking multiple bones including his ribs, sternum, right leg, and his back.

Luis is currently hospitalized and facing several surgeries, followed by extensive therapy and rehabilitation. Doctors have explained that the road to recovery will be long and uncertain, but as his family we are determined to give him the best chance to heal and regain mobility.

As you can imagine, the medical expenses are overwhelming. Beyond the surgeries and hospital care, we must also cover the costs of rehabilitation and his safe medical transportation back home to the United States, so he can continue treatment closer to family and loved ones.
