It is with the deepest sincerity and from the bottom of our heart that we announce the passing of son, brother, and role model in our community Luis Palma.
We ask for support from the local and larger community to lend us strength as we get past these dark times. We ask you give your condolences and prayers to the family as they find peace in these extremely disheartening times.
Unfortunately, Luis's funeral expenses have become overwhelming and we ask you share this post and pitch in whatever you can to ease the burden on the Palma family.
It is with great regard that we mention that Luis Palma was a perfect example of what a NAK should be. He always did his best to keep his grades in order, take pride in his culture, and showed us that he was truly our brother and a part of our family. He was a tutor in the Teaching Fellows After School Program and always showed his commitment to teaching and being an exemplary role model to the youth in the community. Luis's positivity was infectious and he always brought a light heartedness that you could only smile and laugh about.
The family is moving fast and asked that we; Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity Inc, Epsilon Chapter start the go fund me and try to reach this goal as soon as possible. We wanted to give assurance that every cent will be donated without question to the Palma family.
We can't end this post without saying how strong the Palma family is while enduring this terrible tragedy. We consider the Palma's a strong and integral part of our NAK family and share the same grief and sadness.
May you rest Luis, we will love you forever brother.
