Luis Frias -MEDICAL FUND

Dear Family and friends.  It is with a heavy heart that I send this message out to all of you in the hope that we may count on you for support.  Over the past few months my father, Luis Frias, has been struggling with health issues.  Concerned over the rapid decline in his health, we have been having him observed by his clinician.  On Thursday September 28, he was taken to the emergency room where after multilple blood analysis, EKGs and an CT-Scan, the doctors  located a large mass in his liver.  At the moment, the extent of the damage is unkown, so he was referred to see an oncologist.  His health care coverage is the very basic and won't cover any specialists.  His medical clinic is working on getting him an appointment with an outside oncologist that could take him in for a low-cost, but this is on a referral and availability basis.  Although his doctor and clinic are doing their best, we are still unsure how long it could take for him to be seen by an oncologist.  Our plan is to take him to get a biopsy this coming Monday to get a full picture of what is going on.  ER bills and biopsy costs range between $5000-$8000.  We understand that finances are tight for many people but our hope is that with your assistance, we will be able to ensure that my father recieves the medical attention he urgently requires.  Any and all contributions are appreciated.  Those of you that know Luis, know that he has one of the biggest hearts and puts his family before everything else.  We love him very much and hope that you are able help him in this time of need.  For those of you that are able to donate to our cause, our family would like to thank you in advance.  If you are unable to contribute financially, we gladly accept your thoughts, well wishes and love.
