Wife's medical surgeries needed

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Roy Koch & my wife's name is Luanna Koch. I finally got up the strength to ask for help for my wife. Back in 2008, we lost everything & now she is badly in need of back surgery. i just cannot help her myself the way she needs help. She has been permanately disabled since Jan. 2002 when she came down w/ rheumatoid arthritis. after years of trying to find help for her, in june 2006 she tried a new drug called Humira. as with the rest of the other medications nothing worked, & when she developed a lung infection, Humira was stopped & in Jan 2007 she was in the hospital with 6 different fungal & biological infections. after about 18 days they released her & we went on with our lives. in about june, july, she started feeling ill again & sought dr's advice. they reccommended a pumonologists whom she went to see. he treated her with antbiotics, but she still was getting worse. after 2 broncoscopies he still had no answer for the infection in her lungs. this continued on for the next few months when in sept 2007, after coming home from her sons home, she said she wasnt feeling right so i drove her to the ER where we lived & she was admitted. after a cat scan, they said she suffered a mini stroke & wanted to keep her for observation overnight. i left her & the next morning after dropping some paperwork off at work, i went to the hospital where i found her unconscious. the dr & nurse were trying to wake her up. after no success, they finally airlifted her to a hospital in Austin Texas, where they did MRI's & discovered an abcess had grown in her brain stem, damaged the area & caused a very bad stroke.   they stated that her lung infection had spread to her brain & had caused this. so for the next 4 years i was her caregiver & helped her back to a halfway normal life. the problem tho was that after the stroke & me losing my job, we only had income from her SS check. it was near impossible for me at my age to find a job. so, the outcome of this was we lost everything. or savings, our cars, our home, all gone. with the help of a friend, we eneded up moving to Florida where we try to get by as good as she can.  since moving here, she has developed severe back issues & after years of pain injections, i think it may be time for surgery. & also after years & years of meds, her teeth have rotted & are breaking. medicare will not pay for the type of surgeies she needs. also in Aug 2014, she was again hospitalized for lung problems & has had a very hard time to this day trying to recover.  i tried to make this letter as compact as possible, but there is so so much more i have to say. i am not asking for a anything for myself, i just want her to have the chance to go one day w/o any pain. she is all i have & i am all she has.  everything i say can be verified & i just pray for some help.  Thank you very much,  Roy Koch
