Haircut for Cancer

Hi, I’m Ludovica and on December 8th, 2018 I’ll be cutting off most of my hair (about 30 cm) to raise money for cancer and donate my hair to the Little Princess Trust. They provide free real-hair wigs to children and young adults who have lost their own hair due to cancer or other illnesses.
Too many people are affected by cancer - directly or indirectly - everyday. It’s affected my family members, my best friend, my parent’s friends, our friends’ friends, neighbours, work colleagues, and that lovely lady I saw on the train once, and every time I feel a profound sense of powerlessness. But there’s hope. There’s always the hope that the amazing scientists working on understanding this cruel killer will learn how to beat it.
Please help me raise money towards the fight against cancer by sponsoring my haircut in December. Whether you give 5, 10 or 50 CHF any contribution is very appreciated. The money I raise will be split: 50% for the Little Princess Trust to support the expensive process of making real-hair wigs, and to help them continue to provide free wigs to children in need, 50% for the Krebsliga (Cancer League) Zurich, where the money will be specifically earmarked for research. I will personally cover all the costs for my haircut and any transaction fees charged by GoFundMe – I’ll match what they take and donate it to the above organizations.
