Hello Friends and Family!
On July 20th, 2017, our mom Lucy was diagnosed with Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer. Her doctors have recomended to do 9 weeks of chemotherapy immediately, then surgery followed by another 9 weeks of chemo. She started chemo on Monday, July 24th. As she continues with chemotherapy, she is still trying to work as much as her body allows her to, but there may come a time soon when she no longer has the energy to do so. However, as she approaches her 3rd chemo treatment, her body is starting to show signs of low energy, occasional memory loss and rapid weight loss.
We know that this will be a long road to her recovery, and we would like to help her by raising money to help in covering her medical bills and living expenses, so she can focus on the most important thing - staying in good spirits so she can fight the cancer and get well!!
Because her treatments can be very unpredictable on a weekly basis (she has already been admitted into the ICU once with internal bleeding), we would appreciate all the help we can get to spread the word and help us raise funds. You can also help by bringing her meals, offering to take her to her chemo treatments, and stopping by to visit.
Friends & Family, if you are from out of state, and would wish to visit her, Tanya & David Albright would be more than welcome to host you, so you can spend some time with her.
Her medical bills are starting to grow, and total cost of treatment may surpass $200,000, so any financial donations towards her care would be greatly appreciated.
