Gabriel Villanueva and his wife Claudia just had their first child, a baby girl named Luciana. They have recently received devastating news that Luciana needs heart surgery and is at risk if the procedure is not done soon. Their insurance will not pay for this surgery to be done quickly within the time doctors are advising. The only way is to go to a private hospital where the Villanuevas would have to pay out of pocket and all up front. This surgery will cost $25,000.
Gabriel Villanueva is an extension of our family, Hopenstone Youth Group, and Cornerstone Church. Our Mexico Mission Trips and the Villanueva family have blessed so many of us. Gabriel has been our translator, friend, and brother in Christ. Gabriel’s sister is Amisadai Birky, who we all know and love dearly. The entire Villanueva family is amazing generous & loving. They all go out of their way to bless others in tremendous ways. They care deeply for others and carry the heart of God everywhere they go. Now it is our turn to bless them in return. Please lift this situation up in your prayers as we are very concerned about the severity of this surgery not being preformed ASAP, and please consider giving financially to help lift the burden of this situation. We do not want money to be what stops Luciana from getting the life saving surgery she desperately needs. Gabriel is only asking for your prayers, but we are asking on their behalf for financial support as well. The Villanuevas have impacted my family greatly, and it is my hope that we together can impact Luciana’s life.
