Lt. Dan Owen Cancer Battle

Lt. Dan Owen of the Bishop International Airport and Grand Blanc City Fire Dept. is currently fighting stage 4 cancer.
Dan has been a Firefighter/EMT for over 30 years and has been the ARFF Lieutenant for over 15 years at Bishop International Airport.
Dan previously fought thyroid cancer with a positive outlook after his treatment.
Now the cancer has returned to his lungs, spine and other areas.
He is currently undergoing radiation treatments in hopes of beating this latest round.
As with anyone having to put their life and job on hold to battle this evil, Dan is seeing a huge addition of medical co-pays and bills that his health insurance won’t cover.
As Dan’s Local Union, AFSCME #3796 is asking for any help that we can provide him to relieve the stress of these unforeseen medical bills.
