Lt. Dan FitzGerald, aka Dan Dan the Fireman for some, and Duke Bytor to others, is a community hero here in Pinellas County, Florida. Lt. Dan has dedicated his life to helping others as a firefighter/EMT and also as an Instructor at the Fire Academy. Using his experience, knowledge and skills, he has trained countless others to become firefighters. He is the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Sometimes heroes like Dan need help too. A few weeks ago, Dan suffered a medical emergency and is working on the road to recovery. This will be a long road but we all know if anyone can do it, Dan can. Bills can pile up when things like this happen. It is times like this when we can all pitch in and give back to our hero. Join us in giving back to someone who has given the community so much. Any and all donations are welcome.
