paramedic in need

This is my Co worker and friend. She is a paramedic and a genuinely kind person who gives everything she has to help those in need. She recently found out that she will have to undergo surgery for a total hip replacement at the young age of 23. This is because of a medical condition and not work related so she will receive no more funds from work after today. She will need a minimum of 3 months for recovery due to the physical demands of her job. Unfortunately where she works offers no light duty and she has no family here because she moved from out of state. She has very few resources outside of her Co workers trying to help her. She is currently unable to walk without extreme difficulty. I am trying to raise enough funds for her to be able to pay her rent and utilities for the next 3 months. Please help me help her . She is a gifted paramedic and has done so much to help others.
