I want to share the story of my lifelong best friend, Lenora Rinella. She is a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and cousin—a cornerstone of her family. To know Lenora and her loved ones is to love them. They are a family rooted in kindness and compassion, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Two years ago, Lenora received a life-altering diagnosis of a rare and terminal illness. Since that moment, she and her family have faced this journey with unwavering determination—not just to extend her days but to ensure they are filled with love and purpose. Lenora’s strength has been nothing short of inspiring. For her, giving up is simply not an option. Her life is defined by two words: dedication and perseverance. Even as she endures grueling treatments and the painful side effects of medications, she remains steadfast in her mission of serving others and embracing positivity.

Lenora’s heart has always been one of service. She has touched countless lives through her kindness, compassion, and selflessness. She has spent her life putting others first. Now, as her journey nears its next chapter, it is our turn to rally around her and her family.

Her doctors have gently encouraged her to prepare for what lies ahead. Hospice care has stepped in to ensure her remaining days are filled with comfort and dignity. However, the weight of knowing her family may face financial challenges after her passing is a burden Lenora carries deeply.

I have started this fundraiser to support Lenora’s family with the costs of her Celebration of Life services and other final expenses. The last thing Lenora should have to worry about is whether her family will face financial hardship as they honor her memory.
