The place I call home and my mom dreamed of. Growing up my mom Beverly had a passion for horses but wasn't able to have them in her life until later in her twenties after marrying, her father Wayne helped her dream come true. My grandfather helped her and my father purchase the land to build a home and small horse barn on they later paid him back. It was everything she had dreamed of and she got to share it with my sister and I. We laughed, cried and learned so much through the horses and right down at that horse barn. My mom ,my best friend ,my inspiration, my hero was diagnosised with stage four terminal lung cancers little over a year ago. But she is a fighter even though treatment wouldnt cure it but only prolong her time she was determined to do anything to meet her first miracle grandchild. I say miracle because my sister tried for years to have kids and was told she couldn't but shortly after my moms diagnosis she was pregnant. I was engaged to be married this past summer. In early March the doctors said she needed to stop the treatments they weren't helping and only making it harder on her. They gave her weeks to months to live. I decided then I couldn't be married without her there. So I planned a small wedding ceremony down in the horse barn the passion I shared with my mom the horses. It was perfect. But mom was determined to meet her Grandson. She has put up a fight like no other and the thought of losing her is terrible. My father has already decided he can't stay here so  he's  selling he place as soon as she passes. He offered it to me knowing its all I want to keep my connection with my mom and our passion. But it's at a price I cannot afford I work hard ever day I've decaded my life to caring for my mom every single minute I'm not at work. The place she dreamed of , the place I share all the fun times with the horses  could be sold and there's nothing I can do if I can't afford it. Not to mention I will have to sell my horses because I won't have a place for them . The place needs a lot of work but just being able to keep it would mean the world to me. Just a few weeks ago the hospice nurses told us my mom is in the beginning stages of death. Her last wishes were to be at home in her final days as I sit here next to her hospital bed I'm not only heartbroken by losing her but losing our connection my memories and our love ...This home please help me raise enough money to buy it before my dad puts it on the market for someone else. This place is priceless to me and my mom. Please and Thanks for any help I can get. Sincerely Keri.
