Lowney Family

Donation protected

On January 9, 2021, many of us lost a dear friend and family member. Kristen Lowney was a truly special person-daughter, wife, mother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, friend, and teacher. Kristen had a welcoming smile and kind word for everyone she knew.  Her wonderfully positive and gentle nature was inspiring. Kristen will be missed beyond measure.

Over the past year, Kristen endured a cancer diagnosis and rigorous treatment. She had to resign as a special education teacher to focus on her health.  Kristen was a devoted wife and mother. While undergoing treatment she happily continued to care for her 3 children James, Alyson, and Rebecca, driving them to their activities, assisting them with homework, and spending as much time with them as she could. Kristen’s husband John amazingly balanced a full-time career, caring for Kristen and engaging in all of his children’s lives. Kristen and John created a strong, loving family.  Their kindness and love extended to their extended family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, and students.

Not only did Kristen’s passing have a tremendous personal impact, but also a significant financial impact.  The family will continue to face considerable expenses including medical, mortgage, utilities, and college.

Please consider making a donation to help this family ease financial burdens. Your assistance will allow the family to focus on caring for one another during the difficult times ahead.

The Lowney Family has been supportive and endearing friends for many years. We are so blessed to have known and loved Kristen. We feel compelled to return that support by sharing this Go Fund Me initiative with you.

Thank you, The Burns Family
