Loving Laura

Hi, my name is Laura Fockler. Up until a few weeks ago I was running my spa and excitedly planning my wedding. After a weekend trip to Nashville, I began to have headaches that were increasing in severity. I had a CT scan on Monday June 20th and since then, my life has drastically changed. I was immediately sent to St. Michaels Hospital and less than 12 hours later was taken in for brain surgery to remove a large mass. On July 6th we were told that this mass was a high grade incurable glioblastoma. At this point there is one suggested treatment program for this kind of tumour which I will begin in the next few weeks. It starts as a 6 week plan that includes an oral chemo drug taken daily, and radiation 5 days a week. As you can imagine, the coming expenses are quite overwhelming. Being self employed I do not have any benefits or coverage and the medication is expensive, as well as needing to still cover rent, groceries and other bills. Anything you could give at this time would be so incredibly appreciated!
