Loving Olivia & Her Beautiful Heart

Olivia's beautiful heart needs your help. Life, most recently, threw my sweet sister yet another curveball. Olivia, a 40-year-old, amazingly devoted single mother of three young children, unexpectedly endured triple bypass surgery, her biggest challenge yet.
I'll back up a little bit in time to Olivia's first life obstacle, her first mountain to climb. Olivia was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma about 15 years ago, just shy of celebrating her first wedding anniversary. With God by her side, she braved chemo and radiation treatments, went through unimaginable sickness and pain to overcome. 1st Mountain- CLIMBED!
Fast forward a couple years to trying to start a family. Olivia, over the course of several years, would lose multiple pregnancies and, by God's grace, give birth to three beautiful children. 2nd Mountain- CLIMBED!!
Life completely and unexpectedly altered yet again when Olivia's youngest child was just 10 months old, 5 years ago. Olivia became a single mom. Sacrifice, hard work, commitment, and prayer saw her through. 3rd Mountain- CLIMBED!!!
Now to the most recent years when the ramifications of having and treating her cancer became apparent. Olivia received 2 surgeries to remove suspicious lumps- a necessity now that she is at a higher risk for breast cancer. God provided great news-no cancer. Our family received news shortly after that our mother had breast cancer and would need surgeries and radiation. With Olivia right by our mom's side, our mom overcame her breast cancer. 4th Mountain- CLIMBED!!!!
June 2017, chest pains, shortness of breath, tiredness. We all prayed for the doctors to name it something simple- stress or anxiety. Test results showed otherwise. One more ramification of her cancer treatment showed itself. Three of her main arteries were significantly blocked. Olivia found out she would not be released from the hospital until bypass surgery occurred. Shocked and scared to death, but again with God by her side, Olivia faced her greatest fear yet. As a complicated case-due to severe damage from her radiation treatments from 15 years back- Olivia spent almost 12 hours being worked on in the operating room. An amazing team gave my sister another chance to keep climbing mountains! 5th Mountain- CURRENTLY CLIMBING!!!!!
Update to Olivia's surgery, a 6th mountain, most currently climbing:
The doctors went in several days after her triple bypass to put in a stint to help one area they couldn't fix any other way, and they ended up finding that the bypass had been unsuccessful. The radiation's damage was causing more trouble. They placed three stints, a task that was extremely difficult and dire, but successful!! Olivia is at home, waiting to find out when she goes back in for the fourth stint.
There aren't too many things in life that are in our control. Helping people and loving people, however, are COMPLETELY ours to decide!
