Loving Mike Davis

Last night we lost a son, a brother, a father, a grandfather, a cousin,  a brother in law, an uncle, and a friend.  Mike suffered from severe mental illness.  The type that kept him from living any type of normal life over most of his adult years and it got progressively worse as he got older.  Unfortunately he had to live with his mother who supported them both on a single income; not leaving any money for extras.  Mike's life consisted of sitting around trying to understand the delusions and voices he constantly heard.  He couldn't leave the house and gained considerable weight.  He fought the only way he knew how, praying to God and praying for God to release him.  Sunday night he was admitted to the hospital with Acute Pancreatitis and his kidneys quickly failed and his lungs started to fill up with fluids which caused him to struggle to breathe.  He fought the hard fight but lost his battle last night. Mike was 48 years old.  We are putting up this page so his mother doesn't have to worry about paying back the amount of money spent to have his earthly body cremated and a memorial service held.  Any donation at all is so very much appreciated.  God Bless and remember to love those with mental illness.  They cannot help how they are.  -Stephanie Davis
