Loving Memory of Stella Gonzales

Stella Louise Gonzales born 03/02/1948 daughter of Geronimo & Ramona Gonzales gave her last breath on 02/15/2018 @ 3:25 pm. Those who knew my mom knew her as the funny fun, aunt, grandma, mom, friend , sister & daughter, the list goes on and on. She could lighten up any party by rolling on the floors playing with the kids & singing them her versions of lala-byes. Many of those we couldn't repeat without having someone raising a eyebrow because of the words. She was loved by so many and especially from her siblings, that have told us so many stories these past few days as we had been by her side, as she moves on. My mom has been through so much these past 10 years. In 2009 she was given just six months to live while being diagnosed with cervical cancer. She beat that and was declared cancer free in 2015. Although she had other medical issues off and on after 2015, she was still enjoying her life with her family, friends & children. On 11/2017 my mom was diagnosed with MDS ( blood cancer) my mom had chosen to fight once again with her children by her side myself Tisa, Marvin, Walter, Carlos , and family. Unfortunately every time we would conquer one battle another would arise and she was in the deepest pain. Although pain would over come her, she had the drive to live. She wanted so bad to live and see us all grow. At times she would tell me how painful it was to see her beautiful grand children and great gran children stand in front of her knowing it may be the last. We really thought we were on the road to to treating the disease and allowing us more time to be with her, however we were wrong and she spent 90 painful days in the hospital until her body could do no more fighting. She lost her fight 11 days after she was not able to eat or drink anymore. Her family, kids and friends helped her along her journey and when she took her last breath we held her hand. Were setting up this Go fund for the people that would like to donate in her name, we thank you in advance and will never forget the support we have received. We have listed other information that has been requested for those that would like to send food, flowers or other things postal mail. We are making arrangements for her services now and we will keep you posted. We appreciate any donations and thank you in advance once again.
