Loving memory for our beloved Ms. Rebecca Alston

I am Diyamon Alston, Lavan Alston's daughter and the granddaughter of Ms. Rebecca Alston. There is something about losing a mother that is permanent and inexpressible. A wound that will never entirely heal. My beloved grandmother Rebecca Alston recently passed away unexpectedly on June 29, 2022. Ms. Rebecca was the epitome of kindness and love and such a great honor to have known and loved. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, foster mom and dear friend. She encompasses the word mother or mom by all of the lives she has touched throughout her tenure on earth. She always had a giving heart and gave all she had until her final breath. Returning the favor to her family during this challenging time is greatly appreciated. We are absolutely devastated by Rebecca’s passing. We will be forever grateful for any contributions to assist the family with a beautiful funeral for a beautiful soul and loving “mother to all.”
