Loving father of 4 children killed while cycling.

Juan, a loving father of 4 children, was killed by a speeding vehicle while he was riding his bicycle during his regular morning ride only a block away from his home in south San Antonio, Texas.
We are heartbroken and devastated.
On Monday October 5th, 2020 Juan decided to ride his bicycle as he did regularly. He was hit by a pick up truck that was speeding on a road marked with a 30 mph speed limit sign. EMS was called and he died in the ambulance as he was being transported to the hospital.
Juan always looked forward to spending time with the family, enjoying time at the park with the kids riding bicycles or barbequing with the rest of the family. If you ask any of his neighbors they will tell you how much he was loved by all. Anytime you saw him, he would always asks how everyone else in the family was doing. He was helpful, caring and giving. His infectious laughter will be sorely missed.
His oldest son, Juan, is currently an active duty solider serving in the US Army. Juan Sr. was extremely proud of having a son serving our country. His eldest daughter, Abby, lives in Chicago. The two youngest are currently attending school. Having both of the older siblings out-of-state and then Covid, has made the urgency of raising the money needed for all the unexpected expenses for Juan's funeral and burial even more pressing.
This gofundme account has been set up to assist his children with funeral costs and help in supporting them through this tragedy that has unexpectedly fallen upon the family. Please donate and help his 4 children during this crisis.
As their aunt, I, Celina Garcia have organized this fundraising effort. The direct beneficiary of this fund will be Juan Garcia III and his three younger siblings. Funds collected will cover funeral expenses and financial support for the children (clothing, transportation, food, etc.). All donations will be directly deposited into Juan III's bank account.
