Meet my beautiful niece Aimee
She is one of the most joy-filled and
joy-giving humans I have ever met!

Aimee has a few major events happening in the next three months.
--September 18, a GI surgery to place
a cecostomy tube.
--October 17, an ortho surgery to place spinal magnetic growth rods.
--November 3, the birth of her third brother.

With major events come major needs.
Ed, Aimee's dad and probably her favorite person, needs to take time off work. While he has been saving all his vacation and sick leave in anticipation of these events it isn't quite enough.
After the new baby is born Rosa, Aimee's amazing mama, will be extremely limited in her ability to care for Aimee's needs. Since Ed can only take so much time off work without comprising his job an experienced professional is required during Ed's working hours.
There will be a significant increase in fuel expenses for travel to and from the hospital that is 45 miles away.
Easy to prepare meals will be a necessity for the many, many days that will be consumed with caring for Aimee post-surgery.

Ed and Rosa are capable, hard-working people that have planned as well as anyone to ensure they have done everything possible to do these next three months well.
Let's be honest; it's going to be hard
Although money doesn't solve all their problems, I know it would be a huge relief to have some of these basic needs covered. And truthfully, while we are in the middle of difficult and frightening moments it does something for our spirit to have people come along side to let us know we aren't alone.
