LOVERS ANONYMOUS Teaser Fund

Hey, Family and Friends!

I'm having a baby!  But my baby is a little different-- my baby is a web series teaser! Yay!!

The name of my beautiful bundle of joy is "Lovers Anonymous", and it's the love child between myself, Sherial McKinney (writer and producer), Maggie Maloney (screenwriter), Kennedy Love-Green (director), Jason Hedy (cinematographer), and a kick ass crew! (a lot of co-parenting going on)

So what's this baby about?  I'm glad you asked!

"Lovers Anonymous" is about a girl who sucks at finding love in Los Angeles, but she's not going down without a fight! (So yeah it's basically about me, but for all intensive purposes, the character's name is Angie)

Pressured to settle down by her five younger sisters, all married/some pregnant, Angie, 32, joins a support group called Lovers Anonymous, but unfortunately falls for the group’s off-limits love coach.

So since I'm forever single (just like the character in my series) and have never hosted a baby shower, I'm asking for support for my series.  Consider it my first (and perhaps only) baby shower!

I have $2500 budgeted for my teaser, but I need to raise it in just a couple weeks, but you know what--- I have a pretty awesome village of people in my life...and as you know, it takes a village to raise a child! 


Ok, enough with the baby metaphors- Ahem!  Here's the breakdown:

If  250 kind-hearted souls give $10
or
if 125 kind-hearted souls give $20
or
if 50 kind-hearted souls give $50

Well, you get the picture (glad you got to see my math skills in action though)

Basically...if 5% of my FB friends and fam support, I'll reach my goal!  Easy peazy, right?

And here's what your financial support will provide:

Production equipment rentals 
Food for the cast and crew
Location fees
Editing costs
Props & Set Dressing
Contingency


And, in exchange for your support, you will receive:

*Free admission to the hilarious compilation screening of all the best teasers of the UCLA Producers cohort-- to be hosted later this Spring.  (TBA)   

*You will also see your name on the big screen as we'll add you to the roll of credits at the end of the show!   (We may even have booze there, like any good baby shower)

*Those who give $50 or more will receive a signed copy of the script and some chocolate :) (I mean who doesn't love chocolate?)
