For The Love Of Paws is Expanding not only into a new larger facility but also our services to those in need.
Providing Peace of Mind to Senior Citizens!
Love of Paws Meals on Wheels Program currently provides 4500+ pounds of Pet Food Monthly to 16 area Food Banks, Meals on Wheels, Senior Citizens, Veterans, The Disabled, Home Bound Individuals and those with pets having a hard time making ends meet.
On a number of occasions while providing Pet Food to so many people who love and receive love from their pets we have been asked if we also had People Food!
One Indiviudal in particular, Lenord Webb, a double amputee Viet Nam Veteran who has a beloved Cat convinced us that this is something we should add to our Mission Statement and Cause.
HOW COULD WE SAY NO!
For The Love of Paws will be moving from our current Location provided to us by the City of Fellsmere to a new 2000 sq foot facility that will allow us to expand our services not only to Senior Citizens who can no longer care for their Pets which is our first cause, but also to expand our Paws Pet Food Pantry to provide to more in need with pets, BUT ALSO TO:
Establish a People Food Pantry to supply Senior Citizens, Veterans, The Disabled and Home Bound Individuals with box weekly non perishable food Supplies that we currently bring pet food too. Many of these people we have met have no or limited transportation or rely on others. We help People Keep their Pets!
For The Love Of Paws is a 501(c)3 Non Profit certified by the IRS as a Tax Deductible Charity 47-3051354 and regestired with the Florida Dept Of Consumer Affairs as a Charitiable Organization Lic CH#41353
We are a Partner Agency of the Treasure Coast Food Bank, Associate Member of the Indian River County Veterans Council and have been recognized by numerous social organizations and social non profits. We also have been honored by receiving the Joan G Crawford Animal Protection Award in 2015 from the Humane Society and are proudly listed in the 211 Community Help Line of the Palm Beach and Treasure Coast. (Of which our Director sits on its Advisory Board)
Our Expansion and added Service is a leap of Faith to meet a growing need and we respectfully ask your help in helping us do this.

We are a 100% Volunteer Organization and 100% of you donation will be applied to our expansion, move and 1st year lease for our new facility and service to Seniors, Veterans, The Disabled, Home Bound and Individuals in need with Pets.
