Jamie and Nathan Laughlin need our help. Nathan, a 45 yr old, went to the hospital with a horrible migraine. A mass was found and he was transferred to the Neuro Surgery ICU at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock. The neurosurgeon that the ER doctor had contacted was out of town - but worth waiting for him to return. He was able to remove 99% of the tumor which immediately relieved the pressure on his brain. The 1 % left could not be removed because it would have caused a massive stroke. Pathology reports came back as Glioblastoma stage 4. He will have to have chemo and radiation. The doctor is very optimistic but treatment will have to be aggressive. Of course, this amounts to a ton of medical bills - ambulance, CT Scans, MRIs, a week in ICU, treatment costs, lifetime medication and not being able to work for a while. Anything you give will help.
