love.fútbol Fundraiser

For the last 10 years, I’ve been on the board of a nonprofit called love.fútbol, co-founded by my childhood friend, Drew Chafetz.
We use a community-based development model to build soccer fields and safe spaces for children in the most precarious communities throughout the Americas. In Brazil alone, 14 impactful projects are up and running, and we expanded to Argentina and Mexico this year, with Colombia on deck in 2017. Soon, we will be in the US as well, which is where you come in.
With big partners like ESPN, City Football Group, Coca-Cola, Under Armor and Unilever on our side, the board is looking to introduce love.fútbol to the US through new partnerships with MLS teams and US Soccer. As such, there is a ton of room to grow and the list of kids and neighborhoods to serve never ending.
This holiday season I'm asking for your help to support the growth of the organization as it travels to new lands and makes it way back to the US.
My goal is to raise $5,000 by the end of 2016. I know it’s a steep challenge, but I am hoping that with your support of $25, $50, $100 or more, we can get there together. To sweeten the pot, my employer, Salesforce, has offered to double every dollar that I raise up to the stated goal, so together, we have the ability to make a huge impact this month!
