Hello to my family and friends. This is Frances Rollins and for all those who believe in our God then you understand when I say this message comes from Heaven through my family and friends. On Monday September 21, 2020 the home that me and the love of my life Lamar, had lived in for over 20 years, blew up after a gas leak ignited. I was closest to the ignition and suffered very severe burns over most of my body. With the burns being so bad me and my God decided it was time for me to go on to heaven. Lamar was also burned as well but with the help of the great doctors and nurses at Grady Burn Center in Atlanta he will come home in a few days to my granddaughter Heather's house (who is also a nurse) and she and my daughter Pam will take care of Lamar. So I find myself in a position to asks each of you that read this to search your hearts and instead of sending flowers, cards, etc. please donate what you can to this fund to help take care of Lamar. We lost everything including clothes, toiletries, items for our dear canine "son" Pete, and of course the long care that Lamar will need for his wounds and his broken heart. I want to take a moment to thank my son-in-law John for his unbelievable help in digging through the rubble that was our home and all we owned to find many things that we thought lost forever. Things like my bible, dear family picture albums, Lamar's pocket watch, and so much more. But the two most precious things so far have been the urn holding our son John's ashes who passed in June of this year and our canine "son" Pete. Pete had some singed whiskers but overall he was in good health. Pete brother and playmate Buddy was not so lucky and joins me today in heaven. As I finish what will most likely be my last message I want to leave each of you that find it in your hearts to give a special thank you and let you know how much we appreciate whatever you can give. I also want to say to each of my family members that I love you dearly. For all those wonderful friends who have brought food and just visited Lamar and I over the last couple of hard years we appreciate you and love you dearly. But lastly I also want to say to anyone who takes the time to read this that you need to take this as an example of how your life can be changed in an instant. So never forget to say you love those you care about and never leave things undone because your life ca be changed in a moment. All my love to each of you -Frances, Grannie, or whatever you called me.
