<font color="#333333">Hi everyone! As you all know Liam faces a lot of medical problems. At just 5 days old he faced scid severe combined immune deficiency, as well as several other major health conditions that followed this. Currently Liam is needing a major reconstruction plastic surgery done on his right leg and groin. We have fought back and forth with Insurance and that just won’t budge on helping fund his surgery in any way. We’re working on an appeal again to see if they’ll just cover a bit but in order for them even consider we have to pay out of Pocket $53,000 up front, the surgery itself is 104,000 dollars. This surgery for Liam is very time sensitive for Liam as he has a compromised immune system and the lymphedema in his right leg is causing cellulitis, strep, staff infections, and him going septic. He’s spent months over the last 11 months in the hospital fighting his infections due to the problems He has with his leg.  The procedure/surgery he’s going to be needing will illuminate over 60% of the problems he is having in his leg. We cannot even schedule the surgery until we come up with the upfront payment. We were looking for the first or second month into 2023 but as of right now we have no date set until we can come up with the funds to pay upfront for the surgery.  It breaks our heart that he is suffering so much pain, infection, and overall loneliness due to the limitations he has with his injured leg. If you can share this like this comment, spread the word and get it out, it would mean so much to us. Liam just became an official college athlete and was partnered with the Iowa Hawkeyes baseball team and he is looking forward to his two-year contract with them right now. The surgery he needs on his leg is going to slow him down and he cannot thrive with his monthly I VIG infusions if he is getting infections in his leg and he would really like to be a part of the 2022 to 2023 baseball season this year and tear on his team. <br />Again, we appreciate all the love and support over the last eight years for our son Liam.
