Help my friend Allison beat Cancer

On April 16, 2011 Allison celebrated her 34th birthday in the emergency room with fever and back pain. She was diagnosed that day with stage IV breast cancer with widespread bone metastasis to her spine, pelvis, hips and ribs. Since that day, Allison has been courageously fighting this terrible disease with the amazing support from all of you. On her birthday this year, April 16, 2013, she will have surpassed the 6-to-18 month life expectancy she received nearly two years ago. 

Her success has been the result of her medical treatments, healthy living, strong support team and incredible spunk. She is currently taking an oral chemo (Afinitor) to fight the growth of the cancer and a hormone blocker (Exestamane) that she needs due to having her ovaries removed last February. Despite her amazing efforts to fight the cancer, it has spread to her skull and femurs, she has high tumor markers, and a 7mm lesion was found on her liver.

As you can imagine, cancer has taken its toll on all aspects of Allison's life and she needs our support physically, mentally, financially, and spiritually. Allison needs on-going help in the form of donations for late stage cancer treatment, supplements, co-pays and just plain living.
