LOVE4SHELBI

Shelbi Milburn is a 16 year old girl who was a backseat passenger of a severe rollover car wreck, that took place June 23rd 2017. She was ejected from the vehicle and airlifted to St. Louis Children's Hospital. Where she currently is. As a result she suffered from, broken pelvic bone in multiple places, left hip out of socket, severe hematoma, severe concussion, laceration of the head, multiple lacerations of the back, degloving skin of the back, multiple contusion, severe pulmonary contusion of the left lung, terrible road rash of her back, arms, legs and face, stitches on the arm and left ear. Shelbi is the third child of six. Daughter of Amy and Daniel Milburn. Since the 23rd, Shelbi has had three major surgerys, involving stabilizing her pelvis, reconstruction of her pelvic bone using screws pins and plates. And the treatment of the degloving skin on her back. Shelbi will and still has a long road of recovery ahead of her. The medical bills that are building up on top of the families need to cover the cost of living/eating out of a hospital, along with lost time at work has already began to take a toll on their finances. The cost of shelbis care over the next couple of years will be substantial, with some of the special things she will need to continue her road of recovery. These are just the needs we know of, the medical bills could potentially bankrupt the average family.
