Hello, this fundraiser is created to help out with medical bills after being diagnosed with stage 4 Ovarian Cancer, epilepsy and a brain tumor.
My name is Alyssa Chavez. I haphazardly became ill at the ages of 5 and 21 years old. I was hemorrhaging from ovarian cysts, later found to be cancerous. Immediately after I was diagnosed with stg. 4 ovarian cancer and received extreme treatment of chemotherapy. That treatment also included many medications and more surgeries than I could possibly count.
Seperate from the ovarian cancer I was also diagnosed with a brain tumor as a child. The tumor was for the most part removed. Since then I have had break through seizures due to the scarring left behind.
I've undergone a gastrectomy, splenectomy, appendectomy, craniectomy, cholecystectomy, hysterectomy as well as several other surgeries and procedures.
I am thankfully in remission but still not well.
