Love for Luna- Accident Fund

Luna is a sweet 6 month old female Pit Bull Mix. We rescued Luna when she was 8 weeks old. Luna has a wonderful personality and is such a little love bug. She started dog training about 6 weeks ago and has done great. Our hope is to have Luna certified as a Therapy Dog.



Recently, Luna got out of the backyard and was struck by a car. The injuries she sustained was a torn tendon, air pocket by her lungs, and a fractured femur. The damage on Luna's front right arm was able to be stitched about 95% but could need a skin graft if it does not take. Her back leg was repaired with two screws and she may need physical therapy. Despite her injuries Luna has stayed a pleasant and strong puppy. She is still in the process of recovering from her injuries. We are so grateful and blessed that she is alive and making a stable recovery.


Since that accident, Luna's medical expenses are reaching close to $7000. Any donation is greatly appreciated. No amount is too small and every dollar we get will help to reach our goal.
