Love Your Selfie book creation

My name is Danielle Gasalberti. I have been working as a school psychologist for the past five years. I have learned so much working with students with special education needs and their families. As a school psychologist, I love teaching students different life skills. Like any skill, in life it should be taught and practiced.  A particular skill that I would like to highlight is self-confidence. I believe it is something every young student should learn about and develop especially in our social media driven society.

I created a children’s book titled Love Your Selfie to help our younger generation develop a better self-confidence! Love your Selfie, is a book about learning to love who you are regardless of what others may say or think. The world is not always a nice place and mean things are sometimes said to us, but if we practice self-love we can all “Love Your Selfie”. In order to help create this book I am asking for donations that would be put towards my illustration costs and publishing fees.

Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. Once the books are complete I hope to hold open readings at local public libraries to share my book with the children in my community and beyond. By donating to my cause you will be a part of the positive change that we will hope to see in our younger generation. I hope you will get a copy of my book and share it with a young one in your life.
