Love to the Lehmans

Donation protected
On Sunday, September 27th Jedidiah Crimson Valour Lehman went home to be with Jesus at the young age of 3 months old. This has been a sudden and shocking event for the Lehman family, Joshua, Kayla and Abraham (3). As their family and friends, we wanted to set up this page so that we could send our love and raise some funds to help them during this time to cover the costs and expenses. We would encourage you to leave a note for the Lehman's on this page and thank you ahead of time for loving them in this very difficult season. We have set a goal of $3000, but we're praying that the Lord gives above and beyond to the Lehman family, the money raised will go directly to Josh, Kayla and Abe!

A Note from Kayla:
On Sunday morning our precious Jeddy experienced a glorious resurrection and went to be with Jesus. We are beyond devastated and heartbroken beyond words. We miss him so much. Our flesh cries out in grief and our spirits cry out for our real home in eternity now more than ever. The loss is so real and so deep. We stand on the hope of resurrection life, Jesus bought us that, He died for that. As we experience waves of sorrow and grief, we’ve never felt more held and carried by the Prince of peace. I never knew in my heart how much peace and pain could coexist and how rich it feels, until now. How deep despair could feel yet how beautifully close eternity could seem, until now. We feel so close to heaven, knowing full well now that this life is but a breathe and our forever gets to be with the King of Glory and our beautiful little boys in our brand new heavenly bodies. We are taking each day as it comes and walking hand in hand with the Man of sorrows, who knew our pain, who carried it and died for it. We have so many questions and heart cries but we’re choosing to still give Him a sacrifice of praise! He is so worthy of everything. Thank you for so many of your prayers and thoughts for our family already, we feel overwhelmed by your kindness and love.

A Note from Josh:
Wave after wave of ache and longing to hold my son again and behold his blue, bright smile and joy-filled eyes, crashes into my heart day by day as we navigate the aftermath of Jedidiahs return home to the Father on Sunday morning. Deep calls to deep sums up how my heart feels (Psalm 42). My greatest comfort is knowing He is being held by Abba Dad's arms now, in Jesus' presence, in our Father's house (John 14)!  Jedidiah's name means "Beloved to the Lord" and we are learning how to let his absence, our pain, grief and sorrow lead us to new depths in the love of God. Over and over the Father has whispered to my spirit "it's all for love's sake", and truly, to be loved by God and to love Him is the deepest truest meaning of their short "vapour" that is life. To hear the Voice that calls us beloved, and to respond in love back to Him ... That is our hope, our reason for existence, and that is the legacy that Jed's life has imprinted deep in our family DNA. As a family, we've released Jed back to the Father, and in a spirit of worship, we are continuing to lift up a "sacrifice of thanksgiving and praise" to our Jesus! Jed's short life and time with our family is an offering we lay at Jesus' feet, and we're thankful for the ways everyone has surrounded us right now with love and prayers and texts of encouragement, joining in this offering to our King, the Lamb who was slain, and lives forever, resurrected and reigning over all!
