Love & Support for “Bates”

Thursday, January 7th Adam “Bates” was taken into the ER after several days of fever and sickness. Shortly thereafter doctors determine he had a life threatening infection and was rushed into surgery. Doctors were successfully able to remove a large percentage of the infection. Friday afternoon he underwent a second surgery at CWH where doctors determined it was in his best care to fly him to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle to preform another surgery Saturday morning.  Adam has remained intubated and sedated since Thursday afternoon with no contact with any family or friends. Saturday evening doctors preformed a forth surgery with additional follow up surgeries planned for Sunday. Doctors have said he will have a long road of recovery ahead of him. Likely more surgery to come. Due to Covid restrictions he is not allowed to have any visitors or family with him.
