Love, prayers, and help needed

Family camping weekend started with love, s'mores, campfire and lots of laughs.  Saturday evening changed our lives forever. While mom prepped the toppings for dinner; the burgers cooked on the grill.  There's no easy way to introduce what happened next. Jack prepped his burger, ate a few bites, and then began to choke. Jack received 28 minutes of CPR and was transported to st. Johns where he remained in a coma for 2 days.  The EEG completed Monday morning revealed significant brain damage and the seizures remained consistent. Jack will never come back to us, as there was too much damage to his brain and he was unable to sustain life. At 6:42pm on 9/16/19 Jack passed away peacefully.  Liz is suffering the loss of her soulmate; the fuel to her heart. He was her angel here on Earth and now he is her angel in heaven. She is surrounded by family and friends and a tremendous amount of love that we are all incredibly grateful for. We're all going to miss his quirky jokes, words of wisdom, and unending ability to tell stories we've heard 7 times before.

Long term, mom will be ok financially. Short term, she's going to need some assistance to get through the next few months. The medical bills will begin rolling in, the mortgage will come due, and the cost of celebrating Jack as well as he deserves is going to be difficult on her.  Any help that her wonderful friends and family would like to offer will be so very much appreciated. If so inclined, please feel free to donate in this GoFundMe. All prayers and words of compassion are beyond welcome and much needed.

Rest in peace Jack Myntti. 2/11/53 through 9/16/19
