Love on the Lewko's

Three and a half months ago Taylor and Sianna started off on their "BabyMoon" in Prague and kept going south ending in Butami, Georgia. They saved their money, sold their items here at home to spend time traveling through out Eastern Europe. They left  at the end of her first trimester and planned to return home right at the beginning of her third trimester, which was approved and encouraged by her medical care here in the states.

Our family flew out to meet them at their last stop, a couple of weeks ago, to celebrate and all fly home together.  While there, an unexpected tragedy struck, Sianna went into early labor in a very third world country.  She had had no complications or forewarning of anything awry, this was a complete surprise.

Sianna spent a week in the hospital to keep the baby in....despite her best efforts, Baby Jaxon came three months early.  He was a Warrior Baby from day one.  Jaxon brought people together from all over the world, in prayer and showing the love of Jesus. Every day he was getting stronger and putting on weight. Unexpectedly, when they arrived at the hospital last night to tell him goodnight, they learned that his heart  had stopped and they were working on resuscitating him. The doctors had taken him off the vent for a few hours to see if he could tolerate it. Apparently he could not. He had bleeding in his brain as well and to our greatest heartbreak, he did not survive this episode.

Taylor and Sianna are distraught, shocked and needless to say broken hearted.  The language barrier is a huge issue and we are forever grateful for Mark and Pat Rose, new missionary friends, who were and continue to be by Taylor and Sianna's side to navigate these decisions that no parent should ever have to make. The customs of Butami, Georgia,  are very different in times such as this. Taylor and Sianna desire to bring their boy home with them and bury him here,  but that is looking very costly.

Sadly the hospital is already pressuring them for payment of Jaxon's bill. They still have not even paid off mama's bill for her time there and are making payments  The money will be used to pay off all the medical bills and bring them home where they will continue to need our love and support. Wish it was all of them home.

We have set this up as a way to help relieve their financial burden.  We would appreciate your continuing prayers to relieve their emotional burden and the many issues this sweet couple will be dealing with in the coming months.

Our Warrior Baby Jaxon will be forever loved, forever remembered.  We find our comfort knowing he is resting in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We love you forever Little Warrior Dude you will be forever in our hearts.
