Lovin' on the Land of WildRoots

We are so excited to invite love and support in the form of seed money to support the cultivation of the Land of WildRoots.
These nineteen acres of wild at the foothill of the Appalachian mountains is the home of a soul dream: to come into right relationship with Mother Earth and to remember the truth of who we are as humans. After two years, it is time to share this dream! I'm choosing today--my 50th birthday (whohoo!)--to do so, in thanks to Spirit, Mother Earth, the ancestors for showing the way and for the love of our future ones.
When we first put our feet on this land two years ago, the trauma of this place was fresh. Top-soil had been scraped and there was significant soil erosion from the installation of a pond. Gary, the Medicine Man who stewarded her before us, took great care in bringing health to her waters and planting trees and native plants. There was still much healing needed; there is still much healing needed. Turns out, it wasn't only the land that was being transformed. We were, too--individually and as a family. So, to witness the Master Healer heal herself and to be held in love by this place during such a difficult and transforming time, taught us so much. Showed us so much. Gave us so much.
We are committed to giving back to her! We want to share with others what we've come to know about nature, love, and life. This has been the vision of WildRoots since its inception in 2020. Now, the Land of WildRoots is ready to take on a new role with this vision. It was the land who inspired the vision of WildRoots in the first place. How amazing that it is now time for the vision to resource directly the land, to love on the land! How wonderful to bring into harmony all living beings in this time of remembrance, as we create a new and ancient way of being together.
We see the Land of WildRoots as a place to host experiences of healing, ceremony, gathering, and simply to be in nature and return to the wild. A place to remember the truth of who we are so that we might take our rightful place as whole, alive, divine, human beings in this evolutionary moment, in service to Love and Life.
For now, we want to cultivate this place to support this next season of WildRoots. And, we want to invite in community support. We want to call you into this soul dream. We know it's not ours alone. We are asking for support to further support soil regeneration, pond care, installation of a dock, building an outhouse and shower, and laying a few platforms for tent camping. Essentially, we want to create some foundational structure to support and sustain relationship with this wild place.
Another way to support and be involved is to be a paid subscriber to Weaving WildRoots so that you can receive weekly musings inspired by the land; participate in monthly WildRoots calls; and more.
Many thanks for opening your heart to consider contributing to this soul dream.
And many thanks to Thomas Howton (my son!) for so lovingly creating the film on the Land of WildRoots.
With love and in WildRoots!
