Funding God's miracle
The family is trying to raise money to cover Midas medical expenses. As you know Mida has been recently diagnosed with gastro stomach cancer the cancer has spread to the lining of her stomach her lymph nodes behind her chest her heart valves and her pancreas. Because the cancer is so widespread and moving constantly within the lymph nodes surgery is not an option. Her oncologist gave her the option of short-term chemo and one year to live. Not satisfied with this answer we obtained a second opinion from the City of Hope. We were sadly given the same prognosis. Mida is dealing with pain on a daily basis and having a very difficult time even eating. As Believers in Christ we know that man does not get to determine when we live or die only the Lord knows this. I don't believe this is how Mida's story ends and I know you don't either. I have found an amazing Cancer Center that deals with patience and just the situation it is not conventional medicine but intergrative. They have a good success rate and I feel in my heart that the Lord has led Mida to the center. I have attached the link for the center for new medicine so you can get a look at what we will be dealing with and get to see what Mida will be doing on a daily basis. Since the treatments are integrative Health insurance does not pay for anything this will be all cash out of pocket expenses for Mida. This is where you come in we need to raise approximately $45,000 to cover some of the medical expenses that will be incurred during treatment. I know this number looks overwhelming but if we break it down and all do our share and help in any way we can $100 $50 anything you can spare will greatly help and will be so greatly appreciate it. This money will help cover such treatments as blood work that will be sent to Greece for analysis her daily IVs also her treatments or modalities as they are called and her low-dose chemo ipt. As a nurse for 25 years I have done my homework and my research and discovered that even patience who go conventional with insurance will spend on average of $100,000 on their cancer. As I stated earlier we tried to go conventional and was given no hope and honestly given no support to Mida at all, this is unacceptable and a sad part of our health system. The center for new medicine not only offers hope for Mida and treatment but it gives us a plan and a Direction and time to pray for a miracle. We cannot do this alone first and foremost we need the Lord to intervene as we know he will. We need to call on all prayer warriors and spread this GoFundMe page to everyone we know. We will take Mida to the center everyday for treatment and take care of her as she's going to need a lot of love and support through all of this. Mida will be spending on average of 6 hours a day Monday through Friday receiving treatments.
