LOVE OFFERING FOR LYNN AND SANDRA SASSER

Capital City Baptist Church is organizing this love offering campaign for the benefit of their recently retired pastor, Lynn Sasser, and his wife (La Pastora), Sandra Sasser. They faithfully served the church from 2003 to 2022. During their last three years in Mexico, Lynn and Sandra faced three major medical crisis involving surgeries and long-term recovery with many hours of physical therapy. Their doctor bills totaled nearly $80,000.00 which they covered out of their retirement savings. To their surprise, their medical insurer has denied all claims for reimbursement. After exhausting all possible routes of appeal, they are now facing retirement years with $80,000.00 less than planned. We praise God that they are not destitute due to the loss of such an amount of money. God does not abandon His children. To help with possible future expenses we invite all former or present members of CCBC, as well as those of any of the other churches the Sassers have served during their years of ministry, to join in this Love Offering, honoring God for the blessing the Sassers have been to so many.
