Love offering for Austin Rush

Donation protected
During the afternoon hours of October 12, Austin Rush was struck by an automobile causing serious injuries that required brain surgery. He is currently fighting the fight of his little life at Children’s Hospital of Alabama.  On top of this, Matt was one of the first on the scene to render care to his own 2 year old son.

His father is Matthew Rush is a full time Paramedic Captain with Southeast Shelby Rescue, Paramedic with Care Ambulance in Chilton County, a member of the Montevallo Volunteer Fire/Rescue Department. Matt has spent a better part of his life treating people with life threatening injuries just like the one his youngest son is facing. His wife Rachel is a stay at home mother who takes care of their three young children. As you can imagine, they are simply in a fog as they pray for Austin’s complete recovery.

The members of Southeast Shelby Rescue are asking you for help. We pray you will find it in your heart to donate to this love offering to ease the immediate financial burdens they will face in the days to come. We urge all first responders who read this to donate on behalf of the Rush family. Anything is better than nothing...

This could absolutely be any of us facing this same type of unforeseeable event and it goes without saying Matthew Rush would be there for any of us likewise.

Please pray for God’s will and healing to little Austin as well as peace and comfort to Matthew and Rachel as the work through this nightmare.
