Love Lifted Eric

We are Gregg and Jayne Larson, long time friends of Eric Tulberg and his parents Tom and Cindy.  We recently learned of something that Eric needs, and wanted to bring it to your attention as friends of the Tulberg's.

As you may know Eric has Duchene Muscular Dystrophy and has very limited mobility.  While Eric has been in a wheelchair since the age of 8 he has remained very active.  Playing, watching, refereeing and coaching sports keeps him engaged in the things that he loves.  Eric has a degree in PE Recreation from Southwest Minnesota State University and has been an assistant football coach at Bethel University for 7 years.  Now Eric needs a "lift" from us.

Eric needs a permanently installed ceiling lift for his bedroom.  This will allow Tom, Cindy and Eric's personal care attendants to safely and comfortably perform 4-6 transfers each day.  A lift of this nature allows for ease of lifting, safety for Eric and will prevent injuries for those caring for him.  Unfortunately this type of lift is not covered by insurance.

Our goal is to purchase this lift and have it installed.  This will cost about $8,000.00.  Any excess funds will be put into a special trust fund for Eric to cover future medical needs.  Please join us in making this happen! Let's give Eric a Lift!!
