Jessica is my beautiful 32 year old niece. She was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer which has rapidly spread to her liver and small intestine. The doctors have given her up to 3 months with us and we are so heartbroken. Because of the large mass she can no longer eat like we do. She can only have foods such as jello, pudding, yogurt, etc. otherwise the foods are being processed in a food processor (by her amazing Daddy) and eaten with a spoon. She is so innocent, undeserving of this and doesn't understand WHY she can't eat the things that she used to (the way she used to) but still she doesn't complain.
Her Momma, my sister Kim has already taken FMLA to be with her a much as she can, therefore due to the unpaid leave, I would like to ask anyone and everyone to please do what you can to help this precious little girl and her family.
