Very recently, our mother, grandmother, sister and aunt , was diagnosed with Primary Cerebral Lymphoma. Michelle Surmacz Nicholes always brightened up someones day with her sunny disposition and smile. Always there to lend an ear, a hand or even a prayer, she was always giving without expecting anything back. Now is the time for us to ask for any help, big or small, to alleviate some of the costs for her medical treatment, copays and other medical expenses which are already mounting. Having to leave her job weeks ago, she has no income coming in to pay her rent and living expenses. She dwells on how to make ends meet and constantly worry's about whats to be. Furthermore, she has no benefits with the company she works for.
Her 2007 Chevy Impala is constantly breaking down, costing her more than she earns for all the repairs she's had to make. The car most recently had broke down a few days before she was hospitalized.
It will be an year on December 24th that Shelly lost her brother Terrence, to colon cancer.
We know she is strong and is fighting for her life. She is very close to her Savior, praying always for others. This is a very difficult time for her and her family. The family has a very close bond with each other, having come from a traditional Polish background with old time values and traditions. Thanksgiving and Christmas will be a very hard time for all. Tomorrow, (Thanksgiving) she will start with her first bout of chemo. We're still waiting for the result from her bone marrow biopsy, hoping for the best, but not giving up the faith. Please give Shelly a lot of comfort and healing prayers
