Love for Tamara Rettino

On Sunday December 17, our beloved Tamara (Dr. Tamara Rettino) suffered a series of intense and frightening medical incidents including a subarachnoid brain hemorrhage, massive seizure and seizure related injuries (including a broken shoulder, compression fracture in her spine, and dislocated shoulder.)

She is currently hospitalized and in stable condition but is in a great deal of pain. She has an estimated recovery period of 6 months ahead of her. Once she is home, she and her family will be in need of ongoing community support. Her acupuncture clinic will be closed while she recuperates and this fundraiser is to help her with the lost income from missed work and to help cover medical expenses. Tamara and her family are deeply appreciative of your support. We will post updates here regularly.

Dr. Tamara Rettino is a generous, loving, artistic, and incredibly intelligent being. Mother to four children, her youngest 17, she wears many hats, among them: acupuncturist, writer, herbalist, sound healer and musician, birth and death doula and teacher. This unforeseen medical emergency has upended her life and again we thank you for your support and for sharing this page with others.
