Love for Maverick Jude

Please join us in surrounding the Cooper family (Will, Mallorie, Holland, and Clark) with love and provision as they have been at UCSF since Thursday afternoon with their 5 month old, Maverick. Since arriving at the hospital, Mavi has undergone test after test, trying to determine the causes of his inability to sleep, lack of appetite, UTI, weight loss, behavioral changes, etc. They are still in the process of getting all the answers, but so far tests have shown some anatomical abnormalitites in his ureters, possible reflux of the kidneys or obstruction, too much acid in his blood, insanely low sodium levels, and dehydration as a result. 

So far, the Cooper family has had to pay $2000+ out of pocket, and the costs are continuing to pile up. Here are some of the current cost factors:

- copays from two separate ER visits
- Will was scheduled to take his MCAT on Friday, which was $300 lost
- parking is $19-$30 per day at UCSF
- time taken off of work for Will

We also want to give them the freedom to not feel confined to the hospital while Maverick is there. It would be a blessing to provide them with some extra to get a breath of fresh air and to eat out.

The Coopers have faithfully served, both in obvious and behind the scenes ways. They have been generous and hospitable with their home and resources, and this is our opportunity to serve the Lord by meeting their needs as best as we are able.
